CHALLENGE: Founder and CEO requested advisory for two must-win project opportunities. After a decade in business, our client hired TB.
OUR APPROACH: Together, we rewrote and redesigned the proposal strategy and pricing, the presentation design, and coached our client through each pursuit.
RESULT: Within a few months of working with us, our client bid and won both contracts. They now are the two largest project contracts in our client’s business history, having worked with hundreds of clients.
IMPACT: Our client’s project revenue grew 5x within a few months of our work together.

CHALLENGE: Founder requested premium brand design of company to reimagine it creatively for new and prospective clients.
OUR APPROACH: We created a full brand eco-system, built with mood board, typography styles and design elements. We brought a team of professionals together to bring it to life and we directed the entire brand vision and creative team to develop a premium client brand, from graphic design to typography, visual, and copy. We built and designed the website, too.
RESULT: Full premium brand design created from scratch with full design and execution.
IMPACT: Our client now has a premium brand vision, as well as assets, website and sales-friendly positioning for the marketplace and for prospective clients.

CHALLENGE: CEO of privately-held agency requested advisory and coaching on new business development.
OUR APPROACH: We advised the re-design of sales proposal and process, worked hands-on through pricing strategy, proposals and all communications for each individual pursuit. By working together, our client submitted eight proposals for business.
RESULT: Our client ultimately won seven (out of eight) proposals submitted during our collaboration to date. The eighth proposal is currently pending decision.
IMPACT: The awarded contracts resulted in an increase in revenue of 39.4% quarter-over-quarter. The awards included one of the largest contracts in the history of the Client’s business.

CHALLENGE: Executive leadership development firm requested client case study and success story for critical enterprise-level clients.
OUR APPROACH: Researched and interviewed the executive team of a multi-billion-dollar organization on behalf of our client to capture their partnership.
RESULT: Wrote, developed and designed executive-friendly white paper case studies.
IMPACT: Materials now serve among client’s library of resources to be used for prospective sales and critical enterprise pursuits.

CHALLENGE: Founding partner of privately-owned firm requested business development advisory and strategy.
OUR APPROACH: Completed audit of the client’s library of resources, over 250 documents, identifying current gaps and potential opportunities in their current sales narrative and supporting materials.
RESULT AND IMPACT: Developed and designed custom sales narrative as executive client-friendly presentation. Planned and facilitated executive leadership retreat with the firm's managing partners, and built a strategic and tactical plan for future vision for growth.

Prior to the founding of THOROUGHBRED, Seitz drove and directed the creative, strategic, sales and storytelling vision, presentation and execution for critical, high-end enterprise pursuits. She led and won new business contracts including six, seven, eight and nine-figure contracts on behalf of a global Fortune 500 company.
A select example of Seitz’s corporate experience is provided below.

CHALLENGE: Fortune Global 500 hospitality leader seeks contract with Fortune 500 client. Previous attempts made for this contract were historically unsuccessful. As part of the RFP pursuit, Client requested 90-minute remote sales presentation. Seitz developed and proposed an entirely new vision and creative approach to a virtual presentation, with a critical focus on an up-close-and-personal experience with people. Hospitality, at its core, is about people; Seitz believed that the presentation needed to emphasize the human message.
PROCESS: Seitz led a team to create and to write a new kind of presentation, and directed and managed the 90 minute presentation, the first of its kind for the company. It showcased hospitality excellence with stunning visuals and creative storytelling to transport clients into a future vision of the proposal. Presenters were supported with technology in new ways and personal talk tracks to bring it to life. Think personal and creatively immersive experience, with consistent visual aesthetic and brand focus.
SEITZ’S ROLE: Director of Business Development for Fortune Global 500. Seitz was responsible for leading and driving the entire pursuit, from prospecting to discovery, client relationship development and management, the end-to-end RFP process, brand and proposal development, creative direction and storytelling, presentation, internal cross-functional project and team management of pursuit from the beginning through the final contract execution.
THE RESULT AND IMPACT: Organization was awarded the full contract (nine-figures). The Client cited an unmatched level of creativity showcased in the proposal and presentation were crucial to the contract decision. Seitz was recruited by Executive Leadership to write and direct the design of a one of a kind, best-in-class case study for the corporation on behalf of North America, based on her approach and strategy for the entire pursuit. It ultimately was presented to the global CEO.
